Degree from Harvard in 1968, followed by his enrollment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine the subsequent year. In 1970, he obtained his first Master of Arts degree from the University of Oregon, and in 1986, he earned a second M.A., this time in Clinical Psychology, from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. Dr. Civin further pursued his academic pursuits by earning a Ph.D. from Adelphi and a medical degree from the Pennsylvania Institute of Straight Chiropractic in 1988.
